Sebastian Lindner
Who are you and what are you responsible for?
My name is Sebastian Lindner and originally I come from Middle Franconia. I am the CEO and co-founder of illucIT Software. I am responsible for project management and programming. At illucIT Software I take on many tasks in the field of external presentation, networking, sales and marketing. My daily tasks include communication with customers, this includes requirements analysis, software architecture, planning and presentation. Furthermore I am the contact person for problems of our customers. In addition, I also take care of the acquisition of new partners and projects. Therefore I also can be found at many events in the region.
What is your professional background?
I studied computer science at the University of Würzburg. After my studies, I first worked as a research assistant at the university. I was also involved in research at that time, publishing scientific articles and also researching artificial intelligence (AI), for example. That's also where I met Christian Simon. When our professor retired in 2013, we decided to start our own business. We then grew into the entrepreneur role relatively quickly. In general, computers have always interested me. We had a computer at home from a very early age. I've also always been interested in topics like computer security.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
What I enjoy most is the variety of different tasks. On the one hand, as a programmer I work on a single problem for hours. On the other hand, I like the communication with customers and employees.
